Our Team
Three of our 37 shareholders are serving as company directors. These dedicated individuals not only run the company but also volunteer their time and expertise to ensure HCB’s success.
Martin Slatford
Founding director, chair of the board, and operational volunteer.
Martin has been at the helm since day one, steering HCB through the challenges of rural broadband development with passion and commitment.
Patrick Taylor
Shareholder and special financial advisor.
Patrick’s insight into the company’s financial structure, accounting processes, and business planning has been invaluable. He continues to offer advice whenever needed.
Chris Radford
Founding director and operational volunteer.
Chris played a pivotal role in securing permissions from over 130 landowners for the installation of 145 km of ducts and helps with marketing, sales, and customer relations.
Gemma Jenkins
Finance Manager and Company Secretary.
Gemma applies her background in accountancy to support the Directors. Combined with her role as Customer Administration Manager, she also brings a personal touch to our operations.
Tom Forsyth
Shareholder and technical advisor.
Tom’s expertise in software ensures our infrastructure runs smoothly, providing customers with seamless, reliable connectivity.
Carl Jackman
Carl, a resident of Oakley, built a successful career developing and implementing bank card payment systems for suppliers. Now, he is dedicated to expanding our world-class broadband network, and is committed to continuing the personal support that defines Hampshire Community Broadband.
